FYI - Insights for Young Researchers in Finance

The Insights for Young Researchers in Finance (FYI) inform junior researchers (PhDs, post-docs, and assistant professors) in banking and finance about workshops and other research-related activities targeted toward young scholars.

Our objective ...

... is to support juniors in academia, help them build a network, and ease access to relevant information, allowing them to develop and present their research. We distribute information on, for instance, calls for papers, internships, grants, summer schools, and networking events.

Special Announcement: Call for Job Market Papers

We are teaming up with the International Banking Library (IBL) to showcase your research to the international community.

If you are entering this year’s job market, we invite you to submit your single-authored job market paper in the broad area of finance and banking to bankinglibrary@iwh-halle.de by September 30.

We will feature the most promising and fitting submissions on the IBL website and highlight them in the November editions of both the IBL and FYI newsletters.

The Banking Library newsletter has over 700 subscribers, mostly based at academic institutions. Coverage in the newsletters helps increase the visibility of your work, and we warmly encourage you to participate in this call and submit your paper.

Should you want to contribute and disseminate information of interest to untenured researchers in banking and finance, we look forward to your email with the respective content: FYI@iwh-halle.de.
